Today, the Skrumble Network team ventured into the heart of Toronto to the Omni King Edward Hotel to speak with a group of incredible finance students from all over Ontario. Skrumble Network Co-Founder Eric Lifson introduced the group to blockchain technology and discussed how every industry, especially ever element of finance, is experiencing change due the power of blockchain.
Ally CMO Jonathan Greenspoon made a guest appearance to educate the students on everything Ally.
Following the presentations, Skrumble Network’s own Shelby Pearce led the students in a group workshop focused around building applicable use cases for blockchain in the finance industry, including lending/micro loans, cross-border payments, insurance and more.
The groups presented their ideas at the end and a winning group was chosen.
